i gotta get this stuff figured out...

ok...so i'm back. my office is a disaster as i've trashed my backpack and had enough coffee to knock out an elephant...my head is awash in ideas and theology and leadership and mail that needs to be sorted and stuff that's gotta get done...in the midst, this is what i'm thinking:

1) i gotta revamp this site! i wanted to, 01 jan 07, roll out a new format and figure out how to do the picture thing. that worked well...so, anyone, can you help? i've no clue how to post pics in the blog body or to even upload a pic of myself to the identity thing. hello technology idiot..

2) i'm doing an official zfam thing starting next wednesday -- the 28th of feb...look for a table in the narthex with compassion international packets and one campaign info...i'm crazy serious about this -- i want the packets to go and folks to sign up for the one campaign -- actually, it's the other way around. sing the one petition saying you think we should try to end poverty and injustice, get a cool little rubber bracelet (you gotta sign up to get one, btw) and then consider compassion as an easy way to actually put teeth to your signature...plan on hearing more about this as we go thru lent...

3) look for, in march, a saturday morning zfam thing where all interested can load up the kiddos, and we'll go as a group to holmes honda and put together food packets for a few hours -- another practical way to do something good for Jesus' sake and somebody else...

4) more links and devotional material for you and yours...

5) coming in april -- awaken, the riverside travelling drama/vivid presention of the God/us story, right here at zion! we'll have info and stuff for you to take and invite EVERYONE you know to come see this thing -- your kids will dig it, so will you.
