New beginnings
I heard a wise man say last night that it is not often you get to re-invent yourself; when you have the chance, you better take it. So here we are...May was a crazy month with all sorts of endings, beginnings, and changes both happening and on the horizon. I feel like it is appropriate to begin again with a fresh format and new direction with this as well. Hence the new title, hopefully new content, and new focus.
10 years today, I started serving at Zion. Hard to imagine it has been that long. So much new, so much has transpired, my life has changed so much. It is impossible to list everything that has taken place. Needless to say, I feel like I know more and less at the same time, about life and church and love and faith. I feel too young to think back on 10 years of 'work', and it has gone by in the blink of an eye. Frankly, I'm thankful to have been able to ride out some storms, endure some difficulties, enjoy some amazing times, and to stand now at the edge of yet another precipice that God is beckoning us to jump off of. That journey (metaphorically, of course!) starts today, here and now. Jump with me if you will.
