Mark 1:40-41

A man with leprosy came to Him and begged Him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean." Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. "I am willing,", He said. "Be clean."

I am willing...I love that statement. Jesus was willing to do what no one else would -- touch an untouchable, extend kindness to the scorned, to heal the ones overlooked and rejected. The gift of Christmas is His willingness to do what no one else was willing to do. He was, and is, willing.
