growing up.

my little boy turned 5 last night. amazing. i remember the night he was born, holding him all wrapped up, watching play-off baseball as kari dozed. looking at him, hoping and praying for his future, excited to see who he would become. he is quite a young man already, if i do say so myself. i'm struck by the depth of his questions and the wit of his comments, and the precision with which he comes at things of faith. most may not often see it as he gets a little silly sometimes when other people are around, but i really think that God has laid His hand on Brady and has got some big plans for the boy. he's got a theological mind, even at 5, that his daddy doesn't. i'm excited to watch him grow in faith as well as personality and body. and i'm honored he'll pass on the osborne name...
