fun things
took the kids to see awaken last night -- MANY huge thanks to the zfam folks who were in attendance -- very cool to see so many of you w/ your kiddos there. hope you all enjoyed it and were touched as deeply as we were! very very good stuff...we got to talking about it on the way home; our kids know the 'traditional' old testament stories (noah, joshua, daniel, etc); but when it came to the Jesus stories we saw played out last night, they didn't know many of them. funny how we focus on the old school stories, which are super interesting and important, but we don't always talk about the things Jesus did! i guess we got some inspiration to start reading from the gospels last night...
in other family fun things to do:
got this on the email this morning...pretty fun! it's a bible quiz you can take; it scores it for you, and near as i can tell it resets w/ new questions each time you do it! something fun and interactive for the day...
happy 74 degrees monday!
