on the road again...
that's been running thru my head all day -- might have to track that down on the itunes. no self respecting country boy ought to be without some willie nelson in the collection.
so i'm back at bethel as i write -- good trip home for the weekend, much to the admiration of my cohortian brothers. super hard to leave. here's something that made the trip a bit more tolerable...
in church at 2nd service we sang 'He reigns' by the newsboys. youth band did a nice job, patrick was excellent, all in good hands while i'm away getting some book learnin'. kari tapped me during the song and pointed at colby svestka -- he was dancing and singing his heart out. HOW AWESOME! and i picked up brady -- he was singing at the top of his voice, trying real hard to get the high notes, and loving the 'glory, glory, hallelujah He regins' parts. tears in the eyes, all i could think was that i hope my kids love Jesus and sing His praise all their days. out of the mouths of children, praises flow...
amazing.

Ha! Cael was singing too. And did you know the motion to the part "He reigns" is to raise your hands above your head and as you lower them, wiggle your fingers??!! (that's rain...) Oh, well...I got a kick out of it. Have a great week all!

Too bad I missed it...I really like that song! I'm sure Alexa would have been dancing!
I worked all day at our YMCA state qualifying swim meet. The kids did great and happy the big meet is finally over. Time to relax a little!
