The angels and love.

Week 4 of Advent...how this is flying by, friends! Oh my...wishing we could slow time down this week (might be able to with the help of Blizzard '09 v. 1.2)...so much we have not done to prepare our hearts for what is to come! The joy of the season, the hustle and bustle, all of it has been tremendous and beautiful but is going way too quickly for me. The angels. What an significant piece of the story -- these messengers appearing and lighting up the landscape, singing praise, magnifying God's greatness and His unimaginable gift. That may well be the prayer of my heart this week, that my heart may magnify the Lord for what He has done, that my life might sing praises to Him for the Gift. Seems like a great idealistic goal for a Monday, anyway...
