Waiting.

Advent has begun; the season of expectation, waiting, that kind of thing. Funny how we do this to God -- we ask, pray, plead, expect, and then fail to wait for an answer. So much of dealing with the Almighty takes place in still, quiet moments; yet, when it comes down to it, we expect (or I do, at least) to see the Show -- miracles, voices, angel choirs proclaiming His answer. Thing is, He is answering; frequently in that still, quiet voice that is always there and speaking. Maybe I'm failing to listen?

What are expecting of God? What are waiting for?
